We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our Matrimonial, Divorce & Finances Team

About the role: As an experienced family paralegal, you will support solicitors in our Matrimonial, Divorce & Finances Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing administrative case management tasks, including opening and closing of files, diarising deadlines, time recording, billing; preparing files for costing; organising meetings and maintaining your fee earner’s diary.
- Assisting in preparation/drafting legal documents and filing court documents and applications, including Form Es, C100s, D11s, and C2 applications.
- Managing cases on HMCTS Court Portal, including submitting applications, uploading/ downloading documents, and reviewing updates on cases.
- Conducting legal research and gathering evidence for cases.
- Attending court and client meetings.
- Preparing and reviewing evidence and disclosure.
- Attending regular team meetings and taking minutes.
- Liaising with LAA, clients, counsel, clerks and experts.
- Assisting with hearing preparation, including bundles and court clerking, when necessary.
What we are looking for:
- Education: Degree.
- Experience: Minimum of one year’s experience in matrimonial, divorce and finances work.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures.
- Hard working and dedicated with a passion for family law.
- Demonstrate a keen, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Be able to effectively manage own workload and a to do list and work independently as well as being part of a team.
- Be adaptable and flexible with a willingness to take on additional tasks and assist others, where necessary.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, P4W, CCMS and e-filing systems.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
