Sheeja Sukumaran joined Goodman Ray in January 2016 to set up a domestic abuse team and was promoted to partner in April 2025.
She specialises in domestic abuse and Private Law Children Act applications and has close links with both domestic abuse charities and victim support units.
Sheeja has over twenty years of experience in domestic and honour-based abuse, and her grit and determination to do this work remains unwavered. She also advises on private law children act applications including Child Arrangements, Prohibited Steps Specific Issue applications, and Leave to Remove from the jurisdiction applications. She specialises in Emergency applications linked with domestic abuse and complex relational structures within the family, including Non-Molestation, Occupation and Transfer of Tenancy Orders.
