Serena is solicitor at Goodman Ray. Before joining Goodman Ray in January 2026, Serena worked at a full-service firm in Norwich, Norfolk. During Serena’s training at her previous firm, Serena assisted clients in relation to a variety of matters including financial disputes, private law children cases, cases involving domestic abuse and care proceedings.
Serena now specialises in cases involving private children disputes and domestic abuse. Serena advises on both Family Law Act and Children Act applications, including child arrangement orders, specific issue orders, prohibited steps orders, non-molestation orders and occupation orders. Serena has previously worked on cases involving international elements, allegations of significant harm, internal relocation and alleged parental alienation. Serena has also undertaken her own advocacy for clients, providing continuity of representation.
Prior to joining Goodman Ray, Serena obtained a first-class honours degree at the University of East Anglia, with a year abroad in Slovenia. Serena subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, attaining a distinction.
