Aqeela is a Fellow of the Chartered lnstitute of Legal Executives, having qualified in 2004. Aqeela specialised in Criminal Law having previously been an Associate at the last firm she worked but then diversified into family law and has worked on a range of family law matters ranging from divorce to abduction.
Aqeela joined Goodman Ray in 2015 and has amassed a wealth of experience in care cases working on numerous cases at various levels including non-accidental injuries, child abuse, neglect, domestic violence and radicalisation. She is also experienced in private children law matters and domestic violence injunctions as well as adoption and surrogacy and is highly regarded by clients and professionals alike for her personable and efficient approach to all aspects of her work.
