About

Catriona was made Partner at Goodman Ray in October 2023.

After a 10 year career in IT Catriona Allan re-qualified as a solicitor. She has degrees in History and Politics and Law and a Masters in Legal Practice.

Catriona runs a varied caseload in which she undertakes much of her own advocacy. She specialises in Care proceedings and is accredited as a Children Panel member by the Law Society, which enables her to represent children and adult relative clients. Catriona conducts matters at all court levels, including issues of alleged neglect, non-accidental injuries, sex abuse, domestic violence and radicalisation and also has extensive experience in domestic violence injunctions and private children law matters, including child arrangements and special guardianship.

As well as volunteering at the Central Family Court CAB on a quarterly basis, Catriona is also a duty solicitor at Central and East London family courts. Catriona also volunteer with BPP student advice clinic every term and is the longest serving solicitor advisor at the organisation.

Catriona is accredited as a member of the Advanced Family Law Panel in the areas of Domestic Abuse and Private Children Law and is a member of Resolution and the Association of Lawyers for Children.
