About
Annie joined Goodman Ray’s Children and Domestic Abuse team in September 2025. She specialises in private law children applications, including Child Arrangements Orders (lives with, spends time with), Prohibited Steps Orders, and Specific Issue Orders in cases involving domestic abuse and complex family dynamics. Annie also advises on emergency injunctions, including Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
She represents parents, grandparents, and other family members where there are allegations of coercive control, alienating behaviours, and serious safeguarding concerns for children. She undertakes her own advocacy, representing clients in court when required.
Annie has acted for clients in significant reported cases concerning domestic abuse allegations where fact-finding hearings have been conducted. Annie’s experience also encompasses internal and international relocation disputes, as well as securing emergency Passport Orders and Port Alert Orders where children are at risk of abduction.
Alongside her practice, Annie volunteers for Rights of Women on their family law advice line, providing legal advice to women impacted by domestic abuse.
Annie is recognised for her pragmatic advice and her ability to handle highly sensitive issues with empathy and care. She brings a calm and strategic approach to complex disputes, ensuring that clients feel supported and well-represented throughout the process.
