With over 25 years’ experience, she advises on the full range of issues arising from relationship breakdown, including complex financial matters and children. A Resolution-trained and accredited Child Inclusive Mediator, Trudi is able to see children directly in mediation. She mediates on both financial and children issues and is also a collaboratively trained lawyer.
Trudi specialises in all aspects of family separation, acting for a significant number of high-net-worth individuals in both financial remedy cases and children matters. Her financial work includes complex private company and trust structures, private equity funds and sophisticated asset portfolios, often with an international dimension involving cross-border trusts, corporate vehicles and significant tax considerations. She is recognised for her meticulous preparation, strategic thinking and clear, practical advice.
Alongside this, Trudi has a well-established children practice. She advises parents on all issues relating to their children, including child arrangement orders, prohibited steps and specific issue orders, and leave to remove applications involving relocation. She is also particularly experienced in acting for unmarried parents in Schedule 1 Children Act applications and regularly advises unmarried couples on property and financial disputes under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA). Her dual expertise in finance and children matters enables her to offer clients holistic, joined-up advice on every aspect of their family situation.
Trudi is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in both Advanced and Complex Financial Disputes and Private Children Law. She is a Resolution-accredited Child Inclusive Mediator, able to conduct MIAMs, and is a member of the Family Mediation Council. Trudi is committed to resolving disputes constructively and explores all non-court dispute resolution options with clients at the outset to help them achieve the best possible outcome.
