Le document couvre les lieux o\u00f9 les mariages, les mariages civils et les mariages religieux, peuvent avoir lieu en Angleterre et au Pays de Galles. Il couvre \u00e9galement l'\u00c9cosse.<\/p>\n<p>En vertu du r\u00e8glement actuel, les mariages civils et les mariages religieux sont l\u00e9galement reconnus, mais pas les mariages c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9s par des organisations non religieuses telles que les groupes humanistes. Les parties engag\u00e9es dans ces mariages doivent proc\u00e9der \u00e0 une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie suppl\u00e9mentaire, par exemple aupr\u00e8s d'un bureau d'enregistrement, pour que le mariage soit l\u00e9galement reconnu.<\/p>\n<p>C'est pourquoi la Commission juridique a lanc\u00e9 une consultation sur ses propositions provisoires en vue d'un nouveau r\u00e9gime. L'une des caract\u00e9ristiques de ce syst\u00e8me est que la r\u00e9glementation serait bas\u00e9e sur le c\u00e9l\u00e9brant plut\u00f4t que sur l'orientation actuelle du b\u00e2timent. Cela permettrait une plus grande flexibilit\u00e9 pour que les mariages se d\u00e9roulent dans un plus grand nombre de lieux et redonnerait au couple l'autonomie d'utiliser une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de c\u00e9r\u00e9monies pour marquer leur mariage.<\/p>\n<p>La Commission juridique pr\u00e9voit de publier son rapport final avec des recommandations pour le gouvernement \u00e0 la fin de l'ann\u00e9e 2021.
