All that we know at the moment is that a \u201csignificant amount of personal data\u201d of people who have applied to the Legal Aid Agency for a Legal Aid certificate since 2010 was accessed and downloaded in April this year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The advice from the Ministry of Justice is that you should be alert for unknown messages and phone calls and you should update any passwords that could have been exposed when you have made an application for Legal Aid.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We can assure you that we take protecting your personal data exceptionally seriously and have security measures in place in our own systems to protect it.
