Jemma Dally of Goodman Ray represented the prospective adopters who succeeded in their appeal in the recently reported Court of Appeal case of\u00a0Prospective Adopters v Sheffield City Council\u00a0[2020] EWCA Civ 1591<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0The Times law report for the case can be found\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The prospective adopters successfully appealed an earlier decision made by the Court to strike out their application to adopt a child who had previously been placed for adoption with them.<\/p>\n
